If you’re looking for a delicious, easy-to-make noodle/spaghetti (you name it) and very fast recipe to add to your weekly recipes rotation, you gotta try this chili noodles with zucchini and parmesan in a garlic sun-dried tomatoes sauce. And it requires literally 15 minutes to get it done so you don’t have to waste the rest of the night in the kitchen (Btw, I hate doing that!).
This is it “my first recipe written in real time (as I’m having the spaghetti). :)) Crazy??? Maybe. However, give this recipe a go and see what I mean – creamy from yoghurt and naturally sweetened from strawberries … walnuts too. Oh yeah, this tastes like the best decadent dessert EVER!
As you might have already guessed, this post is going to sound different. BETTER? I don’t know, you tell me. :) …
I bet that’s one of the lightest versions of mac and cheeses you can find on the internet. And it’s also a great way to sneak in some veggies just so you can feel guilty free.
So I needed some comfort food that I could stuff my face guilt-free. PASTA was definitely in my mind as it’s my absolute favorite kind of comfort food….
Only today I realized that Farfalle Pasta are even more delicious when cooked with chicken and avocado & basil pesto. Oh yeah, say NO MORE and get to that recipe! :)
Seriously now, just look at the color combinations of these farfalle – pink from red beets, green from spinach, dark brown from octopus ink, etc. Don’t you want to eat them NOW? Of course you can have them any time you want, but I will have mine only at lunch and before heading to the gym that day.
In case you are a newbie to the fitness thing, please make sure you don’t avoid the calories as the food you eat before you workout will maximize your efforts and results!
Exercise is just part of the equation. Balanced nutrition is also very important to achieve your goals. So go ahead and eat, exercise and repeat! :)…
Let me introduce you to a healthy pesto sauce made out of fresh spinach, walnuts and extra-virgin, unfiltered olive oil. Wait, I am not done yet! :) And now try to imagine how this beautiful pesto tastes with some pasta. I bet your kids will love it too!
Every now and then, I like to try out a new recipe or to add a new twist to an old one. So two days ago I realized that I hadn’t had pasta in quite some time. Having already this pesto in mind to try it out, I said why not, especially given that Wednesday evening I am heading to the gym.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not eating a large meal immediately before any kind of exercise because your body will try to digest it which takes energy. However, I still like to take my portion of carbohydrates on the workout day but about 3 hours before working out….
