10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends

December 8, 2016 by Cris 1 Comment

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends Hey friends! Christmas is only two weeks away! Anyone else love shopping for their best friends and family? Here is my top 10 inexpensive holiday gift ideas for that special runner in your life.

If you happen to be the only runner in your circle, then I’d suggest you play it smart and anonymously pass this on to your friends and family for some more (clear) inspiration. 😉

1.Running Socks

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends-1 As runners, we always NEED more socks. No matter how many I really have, I could use some more because socks are almost as important as shoes when it comes to running. The right sock can help keep feet cool and blisters at bay. Therefore, I believe socks made a great inexpensive Christmas gift for a runner.

My recommendation would be ROYAL BAY compression socks. I couldn’t be more happy with the benefits I have experienced over the past six months such as improving my blood circulation, reducing muscle shocks and hence the risk of injury (btw, I’m loving this one), not to mention protection your legs when traveling.

2. Running Tights
(for the special runner girl in your life)

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends-2 As I have already gotten so many questions across all social media channels about my new wintery collection of running tights, I am so excited to share them with you, too. You can find them on Amazon for only 19,99 EUR.

3. Anti Chafing Stick – Body Glide

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends-3 I’ve been using this body glide for two months now and I’m so loving it. It really protects my skin against rubbing that causes chafing, irritation and raw skin. Say Goodbye to the blisters, too!

4. 2bFIT Running Belt Waist Bag

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends-4

Rockstars! 😉

Whether you’re jogging, cycling, or just go for a walk (without having to take a proper bag), 2bFIT running belt is ideal because having 4 built in pockets (two at the front, two at the back), you can keep a wide variety of accessories safe and easily accessible like smartphone, a pair of headphones, a credit card, even money. It’s basically so easy to take with you wherever you’re going. Worth every penny!

5. Bandana Headscarf

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends-5

Miruna, my gorgeous friend, enjoying herself

Another inexpensive option that most runners will love, this bandana is not only practical for keeping any runner’s hair out of her face, but will also keep her running in style.
It can be as a headband, buff, face mask, head scarf, arm band, and so on.

6. Race Entry Fee
If you’re feeling creative, make a handwritten gift certificate that gives the runner on your list entry to a race of their choice.

7. Motivational Books

10 Inexpensive Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Runner Friends-7 One of my fav running books is Eat & Run because Scott Jurek really opens up about his life and career – as an elite athlete and a vegan — and inspires runners at every level.

8. Reflective Gear
All passionate runners will run when it’s dark. So get them some sort of reflective stuff they can wear to stay safe like a headlamp, strobe lights, or even reflective vest.

9. Medal Hanger
If you’re looking for a medal hanger gift for a your runner friend , there are lots of options on Amazon. I so need one of those, too. 😉

10. Hydration Running Belt
Sold on Amazon for 11.99 EUR , this hydration running belt is perfect for runners who don’t want to stop. It even has a security zip up pocket where you can fit in your mobile smartphone, keys, and other small items. Very practical.

If you haven’t had time yet to think about the perfect (inexpensive too) gift for that runner in your life, my list should hopefully provide you some good ideas. Now, go! Run out and get something nice!

Stay healthy and be happy!
Xoxo Cris
