This sparkling watermelon mint lemonade with lime only – no added sugar whatsoever (NO stevia, NO honey, NO maple syrup, NO SUGAR, I mean nothing at all) – is my favorite new way of celebrating summer and keep ourselves in shape.
Summer season is officially here! Here we are in high summer – at least it has been for the past two days in Düsseldorf (oooooh believe me, that’s progress) – and watermelon lemonade seems to be the perfect lazy kinda refreshment. As watermelon won’t be here much longer, I had to think of another way (apart from eating it on its own) to use it before it goes.
I will be honest with you, it was pretty darn easy to come up with this different idea as the Internet has plenty of watermelon lemonade recipes. About 1 million of them. And most of them (if not all of them) with all kind of added sugar or artificial sweeteners included.
My different watermelon mint lemonade recipe is very easy and simple to prepare too. You need a seedless watermelon, fresh mint leaves, a few limes and fizzy water. And NO added sugar whatsoever (All I ask from you is that you give it a try. Don’t kill the healthy part, please!)….
