Avocado Egg Sandwich with Smoked Salmon
This avocado egg sandwich with smoked salmon and cottage cheese is one to die for. Metaphorically speaking! 🙂

Now, most of the recipes for Cook it fit get made at least ten times: nine times for real ‘life breakfast/lunch/dinner’, times in which I try to perfect them and only once for the blog when I obviously get my head around to shoot the photography for the post. Don’t get me wrong, I’m NO photographer expert, but before I shoot I like to plan ahead the scenery and that usually takes time.

But every once in a while I get a big crush on a recipe that sticks around for quite some time – months in this case. Well, because 1) this avocado egg sandwich with smoked salmon is seriously a life-changing that it must be made again and AGAIN … and 2) it keeps me going until lunch time. Not to mention, it takes 10 minutes or less to have it done. …

Good morning everyone! It’s 7.30 am in Germany and I’ve already stuffed my face with one BIG kidney bean and beef bbq burger. Oh yeah, believe it!

Sometimes I also ask myself (you’re not the only one!) – How come I am not normal – however, I always end up finding myself the perfect excuse that we are all different and what means normal, anyway??? :)) And on top of that I am not following any trend in terms of food choices. If my body wants one or two juicy beef burgers, he is going to get it/them. That’s how it works, especially when you run at least 60 km a week, in my opinion!…

Roggenbrot Sandwiches with Salmon Turkey Breast Almost every time I get to smell the amazing dark rye bread called in German Roggenbrot, I swear I try really really hard to resist it … however, the reality is that I can’t!

Did you know that Germany produces more varieties of breads than any other country – over 200 varieties of dark and white bread and over 1.000 varieties of rolls and mini-breads?! WOW, right?! And if I go and toast it lightly and make myself a delicious Roggenbrot sandwich with smoked salmon or turkey breast… You get the point. How could I resist it when it’s literally part of the culture?! :)…
