Happy Monday everyone! Did you go running today? I did and I absolutely loved it!
Are you READY for some running motivation? :))
GOOD! … because today’s post is going to look different.
Instead of someone else’s story, today I have my own …
As Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Kö-Lauf had celebrated yesterday its 28th Anniversary, on Saturday morning I decided to jump in, pay the fee and NOT miss another run on the spot.
The traditional running event takes place on the Königsallee, which is right in the middle of the city. As I understood, the Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Kö-Lauf offers distances for every kind of runner … and that’s happening every year on the first Sunday of September.
An attractive spectrum for kids, families, students, relays and 10 km runners. Whether you are a beginner or a top runner, the Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Kö-Lauf has the right race for you.
I went for the 10 km with an optimistic goal in mind – 45 minutes.
According to my watch, I finished the race in 47 minutes and 52 seconds. Not bad! 🙂
My next race is on the 4th of October in Köln, Germany. This time, I signed up for a half marathon. 🙂 My goal is 1h45mins.
Did I motivate you to go out for a run? Then please leave a comment below and share a picture from your run on Instagram or Facebook or Twitter with both hashtags –#mondayrunningmotivation & #cookitfit. I’d love to see them!
Wow, that was fast! I didn’t go running today as I was on a plane and blah blah blah (I always manage to come up with excuses, ha ha). So cool that you’re doing a half-marathon! You rock:)
Hahaha :))) Thanks! Let’s see now how I do next month. Wish you a beautiful week & happy running! 🙂 Xx
Looks like you had so much fun! 🙂 Fast girl, yaaa. Good luck with the training for your half marathon. Fingers crossed!
Thanks, Peter! 🙂 I had indeed!
I’m motivated! Going for a run later today 🙂
Super!!! 🙂 How did it go, Sarah?
