My Top 15 Running Facts for Newbie Runners

November 17, 2016 by Cris Leave a Comment

Hey friends! Today I have some interesting (fun too) running facts for you. 😉

1. It’s hard at first … some will tell you even “boring” but it gets easier (fun) with time. Just don’t give up after the first run and you will be on your way to be a rockstar too!  That’s how I feel every single time I run a marathon. 😉

2. After a few tries (runs), 5k seems like a lot but one day, you’ll surprise yourself telling to a friend “I only ran 5k today.” Yeah, you already kind of love it! …

The Sweat Behind My First Marathon

August 10, 2016 by Cris 1 Comment

The DĂźsseldorf Marathon deserves its place in my mind and heart as being my FIRST one, the beginning of a new life, the countdown to the next marathons, the look in my eyes when being asked about it, the turning point of this blog if you want.

The Sweat Behind My First Marathon-1 As you can hopefully remember, on the 24th of April, I ran my first marathon, beat all my personal targets and have now caught the bug. The high of crossing the finish line, after 8 months of preparation, is a feeling I want to experience over and over again. Nevertheless trying to summarize a transformative experience like running your first marathon using words is almost as hard as running a marathon itself.

Why I Love Trail Running

July 11, 2016 by Cris 2 Comments

Why I Love Trail Running-1

Wuppertal-Sonnborn, Germany

Back in June 2014, I was thrilled to announce my very first post on the blog which was, of course, a recipe called Summery Salad. By the way, if you haven’t tried it yet, don’t waste any more precious time and get to it as it only takes 5 minutes to be prepared and requires no cooking whatsoever. 😉

2 WOW years!!! … It’s has been two years of sharing with YOU mostly recipes (plant-based, energizing ones) that I still enjoy on a daily basis, two happy years of regular running and motivation, two amazing years of SELF transformation!…
